These beautiful cards feature original illustrations from The Bower Studio in Massachusetts. They are printed on plantable cream-colored paper, which is made from post-consumer waste and embedded with wildflower and herb seeds!
Choose from a range of botanical and winter prints. The seed papers have a shelf life of 2 years - give them over the winter, and they can be planted in spring (or indoors, in a sunny spot)!
To plant the paper, cover it with 1/8" of soil in full to partial sun and keep moist until the seeds establish. The seed papers include:
Mushroom and Flower cards (calendula, echinacea and lavender) - Bird’s Eye, Clarkia, Black Eyed Susan, Sweet Alyssum, Catchfly and Snapdragon.
Moon Phase, Winter and Animal cards (goat, snowshoe hare, porcupine, snowy owl, ram, reindeer) - parsley, chive and basil

About the makers:
The Bower Studio is named after the bowerbird, which is known for decorating nests with colorful found objects. The studio was founded in 2011 by artists Isa Wang and Vincent Frano. They combined their interests in illustration and environmental stewardship to design beautiful and functional items that showcase the diversity of North American flora and fauna.
Today, The Bower Studio is based in Easthampton, MA and has grown into a small team of artists. We specialize in plantable seed cards and original illustrations. All of our creations are sustainably handmade with eco-friendly materials. We also donate 10% of profits to ecological organizations.
