These 100% linen tea towels are the perfect canvas for your next embroidery project, or a thoughtful gift just the way they are! Linen is sturdy and machine-washable; a linen towel lasts many years longer than cotton, making this a practical and timeless choice for any kitchen.

Made by Helen Round Designs in Cornwall, UK, these beautiful towels are lovingly made by hand and ready for you to gift or enjoy.

Approximately 27 x 18 inches / 70 x 46 cm

Embroidery tips:

  • Prewash your towel before stitching. The linen will soften considerably in this first wash (and more and more with use).
  • Our favorite wool threads are the perfect pairing for this linen fabric! They are colorfast, but we recommend hand washing your finished towels to protect your embroidery, with something like Soak.
  • Wool threads shown in photo are colorways #386 and 562

About the maker:

Helen Round is a British textile designer and print maker. Her classic designs, inspired by the flora and fauna of the countryside and coastline are hand printed onto the highest quality linen using traditional screen printing techniques. "Our philosophy is to create products that are long lasting, beautifully made and of excellent quality, with the smallest possible impact on the environment. Each product is designed to minimize waste, to tread lightly on the earth. Our materials are ethically sourced. They are made using small batch production, with each linen piece handprinted, using traditional screen-printing techniques. They are sewn by a team of local artisans, reflecting the hand of the maker. Each collection of simple and functional linen homeware and kitchenware products is made and printed in our Cornish studios."
